In this paper several samples of radiolarites coming from the Rubik Complex, Simoni Melange and Krasta Cukali Unit have been investigated. The radiolarian assemblages in the Volcano Sedimentary Formation of the Rubik area give a Middle Triassic and Late Triassic age. In the Simoni Melange sheet, part of the Rubik Complex, the age of the radiolarian cherts is Middle Trias. The age of the cherts in the Simoni Melange, based on radiolarians, is Late Trias. In the Krasta Cukali unit a radiolarian assemblage gave a Middle Trias age.
